About Victoria
Victoria Keum Jee was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up with strong roots in Boston Massachusetts. From a very young age, she exhibited a passion for music, performing, and creating fun and quirky characters and worlds.
She began studying piano at an early age and continued her classical training through high school where she discovered her love for theater and acting. She became active in theater programs both in and out of school during this time. Her passion for music and performing led her to the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford where she studied Musical Theater/Vocal Performance.
She directed her first film, "An Honest Effort" in fall of 2021 for the Annual 4th Wall Studio Film Challenge, and in the winter of 2022, her film "All For Me", which she wrote and starred in, won the "Best Film" award, among many other accolades at the 54 Hour Film Festival. In the Summer of 2022, the film "Vindicta", which she wrote and starred in, won the award for "Best Thriller Film" in the Nashville 48 Hour Film Project. She directed her second film "Loop" which permiered in October of 2022. The award winning comedy, "Ulex's Deck Shop", which was written by Victoria also premiered in October 2022. She continues to lend her acting skills in projects throughout LA & the Southeast.
Victoria currently continues to study her craft in both classes and workshops in Los Angeles and the Southeast.
Victoria released two singles under the alias Vikki KJ in 2020 which she wrote, performed, and self produced. She references Prince, Queen, Blondie, Nirvana, Weezer, Dr. Dre, and Adele as her major influences well as countless more. Rock music from the 60's, Motown, Disco, Hip Hop of the 90's, Broadway, and Funk all contribute to her own musical sound.
She currently resides in Los Angeles (and Nashville) with her dogs Butters & Kenny.
